Food Preparation

Once again this year, women and men from the various faith communities involved in the TWB/Habitat build will gather in the kitchen of Bellevue Christian Church to prepare meals for those who are working at the construction site. Each year the food is prepared to meet the dietary needs of the Jewish and Muslim participants. The 2008 food preparation is once again under the able direction of Cindy Lohman.

There will be two work shifts this year. Those working during the first shift (8:30-11:30 a.m.) will actually prepare the food. Those working the second shift (11:30 a.m.-2:00 p.m) will transport the cooked food to Snoqualmie Ridge, set up and serve the lunch, clean up after the meal at the site, return any leftovers to the church kitchen and finish any necessary cleanup there.
